    About the Job

    The Role:

    • Ensure production workflow is adhered to and define, communicate and enforce production standards
    • Have a sound working knowledge of all the various roles, functions, capabilities, equipment, and applications within the Broadcast Production Department
    • Work with Broadcast Production Team to ensure that the assigned projects are produced to a high creative standard, delivered on time and within the agreed budget
    • Arrange briefings with client/ agency, find out proposed budget, agree a quote, assign lead operators, book suite time, conduct kick-off meetings, schedule client reviews, distribute feedback, track costs and manage project progress
    • Attend and take notes during all briefings/reviews and circulate info Producers/ Account Management where necessary
    • Be responsible for checking that all material needed to undertake a job has been requested and is on the system in the correct place
    • Check and sign off invoices before going to client/ agency and send regular updates of costs incurred so far
    • Encourage and explore new avenues of potential work both internally and externally
    • Continually define ways to increase client satisfaction and deepen client relationships
    • Have an understanding of the technologies used such as Fido & FCS, make sure the producers are using these technologies correctly
    • Build relationships with and between Producers, Operators and account teams
    • Attend post production and tech briefing meetings and present findings to the Broadcast producers also be the point person between the two areas of the business
    • Help develop capabilities of the businesses

    Requirements:

    • 3 years’ experience as a Junior Producer or Producer for a Post Production facility
    • Be happy to work on versioning of TV commercials
    • Knowledge of the following kit – Maya, Flame, Smoke, Final Cut and AFX
    • Results driven and adds value

    Nuke Artist

    About the Job

    Responsibilities:

    • Compositing, tracking, product replacement, keying, rotoscoping, secondary colour grading in Nuke, quickly, accurately and convincingly
    • Adhering to workflow processes so that projects can be re-accessed and re-versioned quickly and effectively
    • The ideal candidate will be committed to producing the highest standard of work at all times and taking an active interest in changing trends in VFX

    Requirements:

    • At least 3 years of professional experience with Nuke
    • A strong showreel, with clear information to show what was done and by whom - demonstrating good experience in tracking, keying, rotoscoping, grading
    • A good understanding of photography and broadcast, and how the interactions of light, lenses and digital sensors contribute to the construction of a moving image
    • A good understanding of color space, video codecs and their use in the digital pipeline
    • Ability to critically assess your own work so as to complete VFX work to a standard that meets the approval of producers and clients, without vetting by fellow artists
    • Clean and efficient Nuke script organization
    • Possess good working knowledge of post-production processes & services
    • Knowledge of Photoshop and Illustrator - would be a plus

    What Does A Digital Project Manager do at Hogarth?

    • The Digital Project Manager is responsible for both planning, managing and delivering projects; and providing strategic expertise across digital initiatives – ensuring all meet objectives, budgets, deadlines, quality standards and are ultimately optimised for success.
    • The role is both internal and client-facing, and implementing projects will involve collaborating with teams across various disciplines (creative, technology, moving image) located both in-house and offshore.
    • Key focus areas include implementation of digital advertising campaigns, including dynamic creative in display and video for personalisation; as well as the development of digital experiences, covering UX, creative and technology. Being part of such a broad and evolving landscape, the Project Manager must possess a deep passion for digital and marketing technologies, with a continuous learning mindset.

    Key Responsibilities:
    All Project Managers must have proven experience of the following competencies:

    • Digital expertise: An internal source of expertise in the digital field with broad knowledge of digital ecosystems and their interactions with business strategy and marketing campaigns. This includes a deep understanding of display and video advertising (adservers, best practices, DCO) and the drive to proactively research and understand emerging trends and developments in digital marketing and experience in order to advise and guide stakeholders
    • Scoping and documentation: Requirements gathering and elicitation, creation of project documentation, including clear SOWs and functional specifications
    • Cost estimates: Gathering effort estimates from relevant resources and teams, creating project cost estimates and proposals, controlling scope and costs so that the project can be completed within the approved budget. This includes resource planning, budgeting and project reconciliation
    • Resource management: identifying and scheduling the right resources for projects across globally distributed project teams; defining roles and responsibilities (RACI) in the project
    • Time management: Timeline planning for both simple and complex projects, with the ability to ensure timely completion of projects, whether fast-turnaround digital campaign projects (1 day-1 month turnaround) or web projects with multiple dependencies
    • Briefing: Efficiently creating clear briefs for tasks, leaving no room for assumption, ambiguity or misinterpretation. Close collaboration with team members and resources to ensure timely and high-quality implementation of tasks
    • Quality management: Meticulous attention to detail when reviewing project deliverables, and the ability to ensure that every project delivery meets the quality needs of the brief, best practice and client expectations
    • Communications management: Proactive management of internal and external stakeholder expectations; clear and articulate communication with team members and clients from different backgrounds and timezones
    • Risk management: The ability to identify, analyse, and properly respond to project risks
    • Project management methodology: Strong understanding of project management methodologies and processes
    • Stakeholder management: The ability to guide and manage stakeholders (clients, partners, internal) throughout the entire project lifecycle – ensuring all are aligned to the objectives, scope of work, timeline, RACI and risks identified
    • Organisation: The ability to juggle a varied workload (e.g fast-paced display campaigns and web projects) and to prioritise time effectively

    Motion Graphics Designer

    About the Job

    • As a Hogarth Motion Graphics Designer, you will be responsible for creating high quality motion graphics sequences for a variety of clients. We will look to you for creative input and involvement in the design and development of projects. You will sometimes work with our compositing team to provide elements, typically products, with a view to them being integrated into existing commercials.
    • You will work to tight deadlines on a wide variety of jobs including TV commercials, digital campaigns and in-house productions, building and adapting both live action and motion graphics sequences to fulfill client briefs, as well as matching and amending existing masters.
    • You will also be involved in the re-versioning of existing work for global markets and will be expected to adhere to workflow processes so that projects can be re-accessed and re-versioned quickly and effectively.
